We work with a small number of clients designing their communication and promotional assets. My long term relationship with the race organisers Motor Racing Legends is helped by the fact I also race with them, and can see the business both as a customer and also a marketeer.
Motor Racing Legends are premium historic race organisers running eight historic series.
This series of brand ads was simply to remind historic racers of the presence of Motor Racing Legends, following a year of hardly any racing due to the Pandemic. The campaign ran for four months over the winter of 2020-2021

Despite Covid-19, the plan was always to produce a Members book or Annual Review for all the racing events.
Since there were less events than originally planned the book ended up as 48 pages, saddle stitched, in uncoated stock with a matt laminated cover. All produced to land just in time for Christmas reading!

Whilst the Aston Martin Owners Club has had a variety of managers I did briefly get the opportunity to update the AMOC logo, to give it a race brand identity and a range of assets and ad campaigns followed.
All I wanted to do as a child was to design cars, since that never became a reality, the next best job would of course be to design car advertising. I had so much fun working on this campaign for Evolution E-types it ticked all the boxes.
