AMOC Rebranding

The Aston Martin Owners Club has been under a number of different managers over the years, and during that time as well as competing in the odd race with them, I was asked to update their racing brand identity, and produce a range of marketing assets including this ad campaign.

Having raced with so many different Club racing outfits, it seemed right to try and position AMOC above the rest of the pack, so I came up with the strap line: Setting the Standard in Club Racing

I updated the logo by adding some racing stripes which reflect the colours in the logo. This design aspect then carried across all the communications and social media.

The new logo design was used alongside some fabulous atmospheric photography done by Steven Hodgkisson as seen here on the podium backdrop.

Many clients fail to see the value in buying the services of a good photographer, and in motor racing circles so many enthusiasts offer to shoot events for free it is sometimes very tempting to take the easy option. But it is clear to see here Steven’s exceptionally good eye and great filtered shots added a layer of sophistication and class over the entire project. My job was easy as long as Steven was around!
